The farm at a glance
We warmly welcome you to the homepage of our “Oberberghof” in Eppan-Berg and welcome you to a “holiday on the farm”.
Our Oberberghof is located in Eppan-Berg, South Tyrol, surrounded by vineyards and with a panoramic view from the Rittner Horn over the Schlern mountain up to the Fiemme Alps. The farm is very quiet and yet only about 1km from the wine villages of St. Paul and St. Michael (capital of the municipality of Appiano) away. Also, the capital of Bolzano is only about 10 km away and easily accessible by public transport.
Our farm was inaugurated in spring 2012 – it is a new building – and in addition to our guest house with two holiday apartments, the farm building and the residential building, there is a beautiful biological pool, which of course is also available to our guests free of charge.
There are currently two generations living on our Oberberghof – the owner Simon Eisenstecken with his girlfriend Astrid, his parents Sylvia and Peter and his sister Katrin. And our cats Nero and Tiger. There is a separate area for our koi fish in our organic bathing pond.
We cultivate different apple and grape varieties. We offer our apples, apple juice, elderberry juice and jam from the farm’s own fruits for sale.
The Oberberghof was planned by the owner’s father, Dr. Ing. Arch. Peter Eisenstecken and meets the standard of a climate house of category A. It was built very environmentally friendly and has a photovoltaic system, whereby the entire yard is supplied with its own electricity. All materials have been carefully selected.
We wish you a relaxing and enjoyable holiday at our Oberberghof.
